Someone reads every one of these. Not a bot, and not a queue that quietly closes tickets after a week.
The free plugins
Use the support forum on WordPress.org for the plugin in question. It is the right place for two reasons: the answer stays public, so the next person with the same problem finds it, and the plugin's own reviewers can see that questions get answered.
2KEvents does not have its forum yet — it opens the day the plugin is approved.
Something that looks like a bug
Tell us what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead. The version number of the plugin and of WordPress helps more than anything else in the message.
Before you write
Two things account for most of what people ask about 2KEvents, and both have short answers:
- A phone camera will not open the door station over plain
http://. No browser opens a camera on an unencrypted page. Install a certificate, or use Take a photo and manual entry at the door. - Tickets are not arriving. The plugin hands each message to WordPress, which hands it to whatever your host or your mail plugin does with it. Send yourself a test from the settings screen first — if that does not arrive either, the problem is in the mail path and not in the tickets.
